CLOSED-LOOP FUEL ADMISSION CONTROL // PRIME MOVER REGULATION

An Electronic Speed Governor is a device which electronically controls the energy source to a prime mover to control its power for a specific purpose.
It "controls" the accelerator / engine depending on the condition of sea, meaning it automatically changes the fuel admission to maintain the desired speed or load. If parameter(s) of the loop change this will affect the entire control loop and fuel admission will automatically be corrected to maintain the desired set point.
Continuous closed-loop monitoring electronically adjusts the prime mover energy source to lock target vehicle velocity.
Automatic correction of fuel admission maintains the desired set point irrespective of road gradient, load change, or operational conditions.
